With the series at 3 to 1, the Dallas Mavericks need to pull off a win in the next game against one of the best duos in the league, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Hometown hero Dirk Nowitzki tried his best to carry his team to victory. He had a strong performance as he had 27 points and 8 rebounds. Raymond Felton also had a good game with 19 points and 11 assists, reaching a double-double for the game.
On the other side, the Thunder had an unlikely hero this game. Enes Kanter had 28 points and 6 rebounds in 25 minutes of play, going 12 for 13 on the field. Russell Westbrook had a typical night of 25 points and 15 assists. Kevin Durant had a quiet night with just 19 points.
The big takeaway from this game, however, is what happened at the last few minutes. Kevin Durant was ejected with a flagrant foul on Justin Anderson in the final moments of the game. There is a big question of whether or not Durant will be suspended for Game 5. The decision still has to be made.
Dallas Mavericks will be visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder for their next game on Monday, April 25th, 2016 at 7:00 PM Central Time. It is a win or go home situation for the Mavericks. We’ll see if the team can come up big next game.
